I know that this is really a video, but it is pretty good. The bass player gets the groove going and keeps it moving at a brisk pace. I enjoy a good musical piece regardless of the genre. Thanks to brooksbayne (Twitter) for originally posting this.
Back in November I went with my wife to see 3Oh!3 at People’s Court Ave. I wasn’t too into their music, but hey, it was a chance to spend the night with significant other, so I grabbed at it. Glad I went.
3Oh!3 (so named due to their area code in Colorado) was a pretty good show – much better than I expected. Starstruck and Don’t Trust Me are both great tunes and I find them stuck in my head all the time (especially when whisteling at my wife’s figure (listen to Starstruck sometime – you’ll understand).
It wasn’t 3Oh!3 that made the concert for me, though. The band that came on just before the duo from Colorado: INNERPARTYSYSTEM. This band put on one hell of a performance! Lights, fog machines, strobes, and an incredible beat. Holy smokes! I was pumped after the first song – after they played a good 7 or 8 tracks I was so hopped up on adreneline that I had to stay for 3Oh!3 – no way I could ahve driven home safely like that!
Anyway, INNERPARTSYSTEM is an electronic/techno band with a large collection of instrumentation and very strong vocals. Exciting, adrenaline-pumping music rages from the band and drives the crowd nuts. I picked up their self-titled album at the concert and it does not disappoint. I highly recommend picking this collection up at Amazon (or better yet, check them out on tour!).
Central location of Bryan's thoughts and ideas promoting business, free market thinking, and true conservatism. Or, a source of angry and disappointment for liberals. Hey, I'm entitled to my own opinions, too!
